Having gone to an SEC school (South Carolina) attending college football games down there is mandatory. Pregaming at 7AM for an 8PM start is just fun. If youre afraid of that, just get in the student section..youre less likely to encounter that type there from my experience |

And we watched all of those people on the 'row' provide us with a warm Columbus welcome, complete with hand gestures and all.
Besides, our fans don't have a reputation that precedes them. |

Believe it or not, the people on fraternity row don't represent all buckeye fans. I just get sick and tired of people bashing buckeye fans when the vast majority of them are classy. It only takes a few bad apples to spoil it. Ask Enigma how Buckeye fans that came to Austin carried themselves.

I'd say that Ohio State fans have earned their surly reputation. I mean, to be fair, I'm a dick - And I'm one of the nicer, more rational ones. That being said, I flew from TX to OH for the Wisconsin game, and the crowd in the 'Shoe was basically half asleep. I'd rather our fans be assholes than apathetic. |

You want me to be completely honest...here you go...you brought some of the worst fans I've ever seen in the Coliseum, the rep from OSU was nearly removed by the LAPD because he wouldn't cooperate with stadium management and then when we went there your students acted with the class of a dead ant.

She told officials there that she confronted a culture of rioting when she arrived at Ohio State in 2002 and that she witnessed people doing "disgusting things, unbelievable things" on a videotape she ordered made after the Ohio State-Michigan game that year.
"They think it's fun to flip cars, to really have absolute drunken orgies. ... I don't want to be at a place that has this kind of culture as a norm," she said.
Those comments are more of a problem for you than a posted on FTJ. Give us a break. |

Now...all of that being said...most SC fans laugh at the hand signs and the other stuff and just look at a passionate fan base. Still...stuff happens. |

With all due respect, I wouldn't take ANYTHING from Karen Holbrook at her word. She defined the word CUNT (EVERYONE that was involved with Ohio State hated her), and she is bitter because she couldn't understand why everyone did hate her. These comments come from a woman that was kicked out the door. Please don't take her comments as "bible".
As for OSU's rep, the extreme 10% who pull the bullshit they do have given OSU its reputation. Like it or not OSU fans, its deserved. If OSU fans want to do something about it, make a comment to someone acting like an idiot. Stop a fan from doing something stupid. |
