Hey everyone...

Just moved to Houston after spending about a month in Charlotte...Yes, I moved again. Really miss Louisville and all my friends but I've been finding the saying true, "everything's bigger in Texas." hahaha

New goal: Miss Texas

I came in runner-up in my last two pageants of the year (for those of you who keep tabs on that) and all of my losses this year were to brunettes or black haired women...grrr...that's why I had this poll and I still lost to brunettes in my latest poll...I wonder why guys think dark haired women are sexier?

Anyway...I've decided to give up on pageants for awhile (maybe forever) and concentrate on my career and finding the man of my dreams. I've used FTJ for a long time with not much luck but I'm going to be on here more and we'll see where it takes me. I might even join eHarmony or a dating service, I want to find an honest, kind man and not a perv or a jerk, and I'm going to give it my all this year. If you think you're him let me know!

I am from Louisville, KY, but just moved to Charlotte in July and will see how things go here, but one day may go back to KY. Last year one of my best guy friends told me that I'm "the perfect combination of beauty, brains, and athleticism," and it's one of the sweetest compliments I've ever received, and I continuously strive to fulfill my potential in each of those categories. I'm very athletic and I love to work out; I play softball, volleyball, and running, among other sports. In high school I was a softball pitcher and led my school to three division titles (I made a bad throwing error in the championship game of my fourth year, which cost us the title, and it's something that still haunts me to this day). I was also a star player on my volleyball team, with those teams winning three championships. I also excelled on my college softball and volleyball teams, and I always try to keep my body in the best possible shape (I try to work out between 2-4 hours per day). I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and I work with children and help to identify psychological problems at an early age. It's a very satisfying job and I'm still debating whether to get my masters or to keep working my current job. For those who know me well they also know I'm very involved with beauty pageants; during my high school years I competed in and won 5 pageants (two of which were scholarship pageants to win money for college) and during my college years I won another 4. Since my college days I've won 2 others but it has taken a lot out of my life, and if I lose in this round I will most likely end my pageant run for good. In total I've taken first place: in evening gown: 9-2 in swimsuit: 10-1 anyone want to challenge me in swimsuit? I've actually gotten some challengers in recent months and, if possible, I'm going to accept those challenges and compete against those girls in their local pageants It would be great to get a modeling job (I would prefer lingerie or jeans modeling) off of my pageant career, but who knows, I can dream


I've been single for little over a year now, but I desperately want to find the man of my dreams, solidify my career or at least find a direction where I want to go with it, and eventually start a family. Those things are very important to me and I've been looking everywhere for the man of my dreams but I'm starting to give up on online dating and going back to the bar/club scene. I've met many guys but I've never quite been able to find "Mr. Right," the right one for me. My friends say I have very high standards and maybe that's true, but I want to find the right guy to settle down with and I have never dated just to say I have a boyfriend. I'm looking for a guy who: has similar life goals, is friendly, nice, caring, honest, loyal, trustworthy, who doesn't want to have sex ALL the time (though I think about sex a lot), who is as tall or taller than me, athletic, muscular arms, who is intelligent and wants to share his life with me. These qualities are not absolutes but are in general what I'm looking for.
