 Theatre, video games, movies, music, gallivanting around town, bartending, journalism and poetry. Reading in the bathtub on nights off. Text messages with coded, discreet, yet unmistakable sexual innuendo. Provocatively dressed art students. Sushi in most of its forms, excluding those with tentacles. Covering songs orginally sung by men at karaoke. Nonsensical but relatively frugal impulse buys. Zombie flicks. A bottle of Pucker, no matter the flavor. The minds of Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Final Fantasy for hours on end. Engaging conversations for hours on end. Texas Pete on everything. Men's pajama pants or boxer shorts, preferably with sentimental attachments. Bicycling in the park. The month of autumn. Outdoor coffee shops with balconies. The textures of certain foods: toast, chocolate, fruit, potatoes, yogurt. Not having a discernable accent, southern or otherwise. Re-watching old movies and getting all the jokes. Re-reading old books and having a different perspective. Clothes fresh from the dryer. Shopping at Goodwill. My cat, Persnickety Underfoot.
 The city bus system. The month of January. Poor hygeine. Worse grammar. Creased book spines, but only when they're mine. The concept of "new-age". Spoiled people. Paying over four dollars for coffee. Wet toenail polish. Liquid eyeliner. A lot of makeup in general. Losing things. Driving. Getting lost driving. Palmetto bugs. Those are those big fucking water buffalo cockroaches we have here in the south. Tequila and how it makes me black out. The textures of certain foods: beans, nuts, oatmeal, peas, fried fish. Drug addicts. People who call me "shorty" when the context behind it is "sweet thang". People who call me "shorty" when the context behind it is "below average height". I'm 5'4", for Christ's sake. That's average.
